Linnagond
The Duchy of Linnagond is located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. They field at Jackson Park on Wednesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM; and Inverlea Park on Saturdays from 1 PM to 4 PM. They also hold A&S Nights at Sadleir House on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM.
The park was founded in August 2012 by Countess Psylocyte Sapien, Lady Ryanni of Starfall, and Count Iarwain ap Alfirin esq. They were welcomed into the Kingdom of Goldenvale in September 2012 and then the Principality of the Northern Empire (now know as the Principality of the Nine Blades) in August 2013. They were granted Barony status in March 2015, followed by the status of Duchy in March 2018.
Throughout the Principality Linnagond is known for their excellence in Role Play with elaborate quests, Indoor Tavern Nights, and Open RP on their personal Discord Server created by Giltenlochs Von Dreisbar. It is home to multiple high level Artisans who create, compete, run tournaments, and teach workshops in various art forms.
Further, Linnagond excels in class battle-gaming and has produced a number of Paragons in various classes. It is the birth-place of the Phoenix League (and home of it's creator, Wunjo Ballo) and hosts a yearly tournament known as Clash of Talons.
Lastly, Linnagond is renowned for it's community service with events such as LARP for Mental Health (which raises monetary donations for the local chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association, headed by the event’s founder Countess Psylocyte Sapien) and Frights for Food (their annual Halloween food drive which collects non perishable food items for local food banks, headed by it’s founder Admiral Anne Cash).
Linnagond has a lot of heart and a great deal of talent in various outlets. They continue to grow and thrive.
